Zigbox
Rootless and daemonless. Images are Merkle trees of BLAKE3-hashed files, builds are sandboxed and reproducible, and every refusal says what it refused and why.
Zigbox · the organisation
Agents write the code here and people decide what it is for. We work by a short manifesto of rules that make that combination produce software you can trust.
Projects
Two projects, both written in Zig with nothing but its standard library, both pre-alpha, and both developed in the open.
Rootless and daemonless. Images are Merkle trees of BLAKE3-hashed files, builds are sandboxed and reproducible, and every refusal says what it refused and why.
It runs only what it can verify. Nodes swap images as chunks and check each against its digest, the control plane can be simulated a seed at a time, and it can tell you why each replica is where it is.
How we work
Writing code has become cheap. Trusting it has not. Our manifesto is the short set of rules for how we spend the difference: agents write and people decide, a claim is a recorded run, review is by strangers.
A software manifesto
Safety has to live in the substrate.
Composing safe components never silently produces an unsafe system.
We are greeting the age of the agent by handing agents tools built for humans.
