What it means

Exporting reads every file of the volume in the user's namespace, where files of the container's users can be read. The read stopped: a file or directory could not be read, one changed while it was read, the tree is deeper than 64 directories, a path is longer than 4095 bytes, or it has more entries or more files with several names than one export keeps (4194304 and 16384). The cause says which.

Nothing is written for a stopped export when -o names a file. A volume that a container is still changing cannot be read consistently: stop it first.
