What it means

zbx state export writes a gzip-compressed tar archive: binary data a terminal would show as noise. Standard output is a terminal, so nothing was read.

Name a file with -o, or redirect the output: zbx state export pgdata -o pgdata.tar.gz zbx state export pgdata > pgdata.tar.gz
