What it means

pasta listens on the host's port as the user, without privilege. Linux lets an unprivileged process bind only ports from net.ipv4.ip_unprivileged_port_start up (1024 unless changed), so a lower host port was refused before anything started. The container's own port may be low: port 80 inside the container works.

Publish a host port at or above that bound (--publish 8080:80), or lower the bound for every user, as root: sysctl net.ipv4.ip_unprivileged_port_start=80
