What it means

The log of the container exists and zbx cannot use it: the file cannot be opened or read, it is not a zbx log, or it was written by a newer zbx than this one.

The cause says which. A log from a newer zbx is read by that zbx, or left alone; one that is not a log was not written by zbx, and "zbx logs" does not guess at it. The path is in the message.
