- 1 (126 or 127 in zbx run)
What it means
The container was set up, but its command could not be run inside the root file system. The cause says which: the file is not there, it is not executable, or it is not a program for this machine's CPU.
A command without a slash is looked up in the container's PATH, which is /usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin inside the rootfs, not in the host's. The host's environment is not passed on. A dynamically linked program also needs its libc and loader inside the rootfs; a missing loader is reported as a missing file.
Give the program's full path inside the rootfs after the "--", for example /bin/sh.
